Wildtracks Mayo
A 6-part series on radio adventures in the wilderness areas of County mayo.
In each episode, wildlife enthusiast Oliver Ó Cadhla along with a local expert set out on a journey into the natural home of specially protected species. Among others, the rare golden plover, lesser horse-shoe bat, fresh water pearl-mussel, grey seal and basking sharks feature.
The series won the Distinction Award in the Environmental Category 2010 Craol Achievement Awards.
