In each episode, zoologist and presenter Oliver Ó Cadhla along with an expert guest set out on a journey into the natural home of a specially protected species. Each program takes us on a new adventure; be it exploring the hibernation site of Lesser Horseshoe bats in Cong, following the success of a Long-eared Owl nest in Moycollen, or accessing the pup count of Grey Seals on Inishgort Island. Wildtracks - Galway explores the habitat and life of the animals of Galway that are specially protected by Irish and European law.
